102.1 The Edge Presents Edgefest 2011

The Sheepdogs

The Sheepdogs rocked the XM side stage, and rocked it hard! This old-school rock and roll revival band had a huge crowd singing and dancing along to their music. If you have not heard The Sheepdogs be sure to check them out, we guarantee you'll love them. The Sheepdogs give off such a great vibe when they are on stage, when you look around at the crowd you can see that everyone is jamming out and having a great time.

BLAST FROM 3 MONTHS AGO!

Does anyone remember what they did on Friday September 24th? We do, Marlee and I took a nice trek into the Toronto village to see our boys in Stuck on Planet Earth play a Lesbian Lou/Rock*er event presented by 102.1 The edge.

Adam Bianchi, Al Capo and Andrew Testa who together make up SOPE, sure do have a way with their instruments. They have such a good vibe together it really feeds into the audience. They had the entire crowd dancing and having a good time, there is nothing like being involved with the circle of energy at a show. These guys have a way of making you feel how real the music is.
There was one song in particular that caught my ear, the song was so new at the time it was untitled. I later found out that the guys had only performed it one time before this and you couldn't tell. This song displayed the changes and developments they are making as a band, I swear every time we see Stuck on Planet Earth they are growing as a band. With lyrics like " I don't love you, I just need you right now" you know they aren't messing around!
Marlee and I go to a lot of shows and meet a lot of bands and not many of them have the musicianship and drive that these boys do! I can really appreciate their music and what they do because they do work very hard!!
Great job guys!

PS. a little birdy told me that they have been in the studio recently, so keep your eyes open for some new Stuck On Planet Earth stuff soon!!
