Tokyo Police Club
From the second we purchased there album Champ we knew we needed to see them live. When they were announced to play HockeyFest it was a give in, WE WERE GOING! I walked out of HMV that day and put their CD right into my CD player and I swear it was in there steady for over 2 weeks. By that point I knew every word to every song on the album! The album doesn't have 1 song on it that I don't like as much as the others.
Okay okay, now back to their performance Marlee and I made our way right of to the front of the stage for this performance! Even though we had media passes we're all about the atmosphere and experience so we kick it with the crowd!!! when I say kick it I mean we rocked out and that's still an understatement! We didn't stop dancing and singing along to every song! I'm sure Dave Monks caught a glimpse of us loosing our minds, we didn't try to hide it!
They played a great handful of tracks off the newest album Champs and a few off Elephant Shell! Every song had the crowd dancing and singing along! This band has turned into one of my favorite bands and too see them in such a cool atmosphere was amazing.
